Faxworld error message codes
The error codes below can occur during communication between our server and the receiving fax machine.

| Fax sent (with delay) | Fax sent with delay. |
| Delivery to fax engine failed | Fax not sent. The fax server was unable to convert the e-mail into a fax message. |
| Fax not sent | Fax not sent. |
| U : Fax called did not answer | Fax not sent. The number dialled did not respond. |
| U : Line busy fax unsuccessful | Fax not sent. The line was busy despite multiple attempts. By default, three attempts are made, allowing 5-minute intervals. |
| No answer from remote; too many attempts to dial | Fax not sent. The number dialled did not respond. |
| Busy signal detected; too many attempts to dial | Fax not sent. The line was busy despite multiple attempts. By default, three attempts are made, allowing 5-minute intervals. |
| Unknown problem (check modem power); too many attempts to dial | Fax not sent. A fax did not respond. Check whether the fax number is a real fax number. You can call the number using a normal telephone to find out whether a fax machine is connected to the line. |
| No carrier detected | Fax not sent. The receiving fax did not respond. Either no fax machine is connected to the relevant number or the receiving fax is temporarily out of service. |
| No carrier detected; too many attempts to dial | Fax not sent. The receiving fax did not respond. Either no fax machine is connected to the relevant number or the receiving fax is temporarily out of service. |
| No local dialling tone; | Fax not sent. There was a problem with the connection. Try to send the fax again later. |
| U : No dialling tone fax unable to transmit | Fax not sent. There was a problem with the connection. Try to send the fax later. |
| Not Sent | Fax not sent. |
| U : Unable to initialise modem for fax | Fax not sent. Connection set-up with receiving fax machine was unsuccessful. |
| No response to MPS or EOP repeated 3 attempts; gave up after several attempts to send same page. | Fax not sent. The fax machine of the recipient disconnected during multiple attempts. Contact the recipient, if required. |
| No answer (T.30 T1 timeout); too many attempts to send | Fax not sent. The fax number dialled did not respond. |
| U : Error 34R.1 too many iterations | Fax not sent. The quality of the line of the recipient fax was too poor, as a result of which the fax could not be delivered. |
| U : Error 32R.1 | Fax not sent. The quality of the line of the recipient fax was too poor, as a result of which the fax could not be delivered. |
| No answer (T.30 T1 timeout); too many attempts to dial | Fax not sent. The call was answered, but not by a fax machine. |
| No answer (T.30 T1 timeout) | Fax not sent. The call was answered, but not by a fax machine. |
| Procedure interrupt (operator intervention) | Fax not sent. The receiving party disconnected. |
| Failure to train remote modem at 2400 bps or minimum speed; Giving up after 3 attempts to send same | Fax not sent. Connection set-up with receiving fax machine was unsuccessful. |
| U : Error 32R.3 <6 | Fax not sent. The quality of the line of the recipient fax was too poor, as a result of which the fax could not be delivered. |
| U : Error 33R.1 too many iterations | Fax not sent. The quality of the line of the recipient fax was too poor, as a result of which the fax could not be delivered. |
